Kanpur: A woman was allegedly shot at by three men, including her brother-in-law, over a long-standing dispute near Bhiyapur turn in Auraiya’s Dibiyapur police station area on Monday evening.According to police, the victim, identified as Neetu Tiwari, was returning from her parental home in Bhiyapur when she was allegedly intercepted by the three accused.The accused allegedly opened fire on Neetu, hitting her in the stomach, before fleeing the spot. Passersby informed her family, following which she was rushed to a hospital in Chichauli.After receiving primary treatment, she was referred to the UP University of Medical Sciences in Saifai, Etawah. Doctors said her condition was stable and that she was out of danger.CO City Shailendra Singh said that a case was registered on the complaint of the woman’s brother and the accused were arrested.The three accused were identified as Shivam Tiwari, Sagar Tiwari and woman’s brother-in-law Pankaj Tiwari,He added that the two families had a history of hostility, and several cases had been filed against both sides in the past.
