Kanpur: A woman created a ruckus and allegedly assaulted a home guard on Saturday at the National Highway underpass in front of Kargil Petrol Pump under the Gujaini police station limits in Kanpur.A video of the incident was widely shared on social media. It is alleged that the woman accused the home guard of molestation, following which an argument broke out between them. The matter soon escalated, and the woman allegedly grabbed the home guard’s uniform and assaulted him in the middle of the road. The viral video purportedly shows the woman pulling his uniform and slapping, kicking and punching him.A large number of passersby gathered at the spot, affecting traffic for some time.Police have launched an investigation into the incident based on the viral video.
