The Manikpur-Shankargarh section is targeted for completion by the end of 2028, while the Shankargarh-Iradatganj stretch is scheduled to be commissioned by 2029.In view of the anticipated rise in train traffic and future operational requirements, NCR has also initiated a survey for providing a fourth line along the section.
