Kanpur: Seven people were injured when a passenger bus travelling from Gonda to Delhi collided with an LPG tanker on the Agra-Lucknow Expressway in Etawah in the early hours of Thursday.The accident occurred near Bani Hardu village when the passenger bus reportedly went out of control, broke through the divider and entered the other lane, colliding with the tanker.According to police, the driver allegedly lost control of the vehicle due to drowsiness, which led to the accident. The bus driver, after the accident, fled the spot, police said.Police reached the spot after receiving information and started the rescue operation.Six passengers travelling in the bus, and the driver of the LPG tanker were injured and were sent to Uttar Pradesh University of Medical Sciences (UPUMS) Saifai for treatment.Chaubiya station house officer Mahendra Singh said that both vehicles had been removed from the expressway and traffic had been smoothly restored.
