Kanpur: A 25-year-old man was found hanging from a ceiling fan at his home late Friday in the Reuna police area. The deceased’s mother informed police that the man had locked himself inside a room, and the she received no response after knocking at the door. Eventually, with the help of neighbors, she forced the door open and found her son hanging from a noose. At the time of this incident, the deceased’s wife was at her parental home with their 2-year-old son.The mother said that there the deceased didn’t exhibit any sign of distress, and there had been no quarrels or disputes.She also said that the deceased had returned to the village from Gujarat just two days prior to attend a wedding function.Anuj Rajput, in-charge of Reuna police station, said that the body has been sent for post-mortem, and further investigation is underway.
