Kanpur: Two relatives were killed on the spot after a speeding truck rammed their motorcycle on the Mataundh-Gaurihar road in Banda late Friday.According to police, Pradeep Ahirwar, 25, a resident of Hinauti village in Chhatarpur district, and his relative Ramesh Yadav, 40, a resident of Alampur, had gone to Mataundh to return leftover items from the wedding of a family member, which had taken place on June 24.Around 11 pm, while they were returning to Alampur, a speeding truck hit their motorcycle near a culvert on the Mataundh-Gaurihar road. The impact was so severe that both men died on the spot.Police reached the scene soon after being informed, took the bodies into custody and sent them for post-mortem examination. A case has been registered and further investigation is underway.
