Panaji: A youth was killed and another sustained serious injuries after their scooter rammed into the rear of a parked goods carrier near the Colvale industrial estate late Monday night.Police said the deceased has been identified as Ravish Tari, a resident of St Estevam and injured as Laxman Bhosle of Aldona. Colvale police said the accident occurred around 11.30pm near the Glenmark-Binani Industrial Estate when the two were returning home after visiting Tari’s maternal uncle in Camurlim.While both were shifted to North Goa district hospital, Tari was declared brought dead. Bhosle is undergoing treatment at GMC.Locals said the heavy vehicle had been illegally parked by the roadside for over a week, obstructing traffic.
