NEW DELHI: A moving car caught fire on Delhi’s Mehrauli-Badarpur Road on Tuesday amid intense heat, causing panic among commuters and affecting traffic movement in the area.Two people were travelling and managed to get out of the vehicle safely before the flames spread further. Videos shared online showed the car completely engulfed in flames, with thick black smoke rising into the sky as people gathered near the spot. Vehicle fire incidents are often reported during the summer season in several Indian cities, especially during periods of extreme heat. Experts usually recommend regular vehicle servicing, inspection of electrical systems and precautions to prevent engine overheating in high temperatures.
