Noida: A nine-year-old boy died while undergoing treatment after he was allegedly hit by a tractor while playing by the roadside in Bisrakh on Thursday. Kallu was admitted to a private hospital, where he succumbed during treatment. Police have seized the tractor and detained the driver.Police said they had received information about the accident through a memo from a private hospital on Thursday. Around 4.30pm, the child, Kallu, was playing with his friends outside his home in Bhagat Market when the tractor allegedly hit him. He suffered serious injuries.Family members and locals rushed him to the hospital. Despite efforts by doctors, his condition remained critical and he died on Friday. Following information from the hospital, police reached the spot for an inquiry.The officers said the circumstances leading to the accident are being looked into. They are probing how the tractor was being driven and how the collision occurred.The child was originally a resident of Shahpur Balwa under Nagar Nausa police station in Nalanda district of Bihar. His family had been residing in the Bhagat Market area of Bisrakh for several years. An autopsy was conducted but no FIR has been registered yet.
