Gurgaon: The district administration has enforced heightened security measures for the Haryana Board of School Education (HBSE) classes 10 and 12 annual examinations. The examinations will be held from Wednesday across 65 centres set up at 55 locations in Nuh. Of these, eight centres have been categorised as highly sensitive and seven as sensitive, with special monitoring arrangements in place to ensure the free and fair conduct of examinations. Meanwhile, the city has only 1 school centre listed as a sensitive centre.Deputy commissioner Akhil Pilani said, “In Nuh sub-division, govt senior secondary school Firozpur Namak and two centres at govt senior secondary school Tapkan (B-1 and B-2) were placed in the highly sensitive category, while centres including Chaudhary Mohammad Yasin Khan Mev senior secondary school Nuh and govt girls senior secondary school Nuh were marked sensitive”.He added that, in Tauru sub-division, govt senior secondary school Bissar Akbarpur, govt senior secondary school Hasanpur Tauru-1, govt girls high school Hasanpur Tauru-3, and govt senior secondary school Rathiwas were declared highly sensitive. In Punhana, govt senior secondary school (B-1) Punhana was kept in the highly sensitive list, while two other centres fell under the sensitive category. One centre in Firozpur Jhirka was also marked sensitive. Govt girls senior secondary school, Punhana was cited as a very sensitive centre following a paper leak incident last year. At Firozpur Namak centre, broken boundary walls were identified as structural vulnerabilities creating potential unauthorised access points.
