Bokaro: Seven children of a private school sustained injuries after a speeding truck collided head-on with an auto on the Jamtara–Giridih Main Road near Belatand village of Giridih on Saturday, police said.Officer in-charge of the Ahilyapur police station Ainul Haq Khan said, “Over a dozen students were travelling by the auto at the time of the accident. Seven sustained injuries, one critically. Efforts are underway to trace and arrest the absconding truck driver.”An 8-year-old boy of Ghosko village, Piyush Kumar Verma, fractured a leg. He, along with others, was taken to a local hospital, which referred him to Dhanbad.
