A blaze erupted at a ground-plus-one-storey labour camp in Tata Nagar, resulting in the explosion of around seven gas cylinders

MUMBAI: A fire broke out at a ground-plus-one-storey labour camp at Tata Nagar on Navghar Road in Mulund (East) on Thursday afternoon, with around seven gas cylinders reportedly exploding in the incident.The exact cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained.The labour camp housed workers engaged in construction work.The Mumbai Fire Brigade received information about the fire at 1.54pm and declared it a Level-I fire at 2.05pm.All occupants of the labour camp were safely evacuated, and no injuries or fatalities were reported.The Mumbai Fire Brigade, police, MSEB, ward staff and a 108 ambulance were mobilised at the spot.
