Nagpur: A five-year-old girl was killed after a speeding car hit her outside her home in Manewada late on Thursday night. The accident took place around 9.30pm near Badrinath Society in Mahakali Nagar, under Hudkeshwar police station limits.Kisha Gurnule was walking on the road with a neighbour after dinner when a black car (MP28 ZD 7060) driven by Gaurav Malviya of Manewada allegedly came at high speed and struck her.The critically injured child was rushed to hospital, where doctors declared her dead. Based on the father’s complaint, sub-inspector Yogesh Korde has registered a case against the driver under sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita and the Motor Vehicles Act.
