Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra is launching this month and the new flagship phone will have some upgrades for the buyers.
Samsung Galaxy Unpacked 2026 launch event has been confirmed for February with the official teaser. The Galaxy S26, S26+ and the S26 Ultra will be once again spearheading the lineup with a big dose of AI courtesy Gemini and Galaxy AI. But it goes without saying tat all eyes will be keen to see the new flagship S26 Ultra model that has done well in the last few years.
Samsung Galaxy S26 series launch is confirmed for February 25, 2026 as shared via the official teaser and we are just a few weeks away from the big event. We could see the brand announce the new trio flagships including the Galaxy S26 Ultra model. The new S26 devices are tipped to go on sale from March across the globe.
The Galaxy S26 Ultra is expected to feature a new M14 OLED display that will be bright and punchy but the company is focusing on making it more power efficient. This should definitely add more value and likely with the anti-reflective panel once again. The design changes could make the phone thinner and slightly lighter which makes the camera bump more prominent
Samsung should be relying on the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset with up to 16GB RAM to power the Galaxy S26 Ultra model. The other two might use the new Exynos 2600 SoC from the company with up to 12GB RAM to keep the AI data on-device. We should also have them running on the One UI 8.5 version with the 9.0 update available later in the year.
Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra is once again expected to have a quad camera system with a 200MP sensor headlining the unit with a 50MP telephoto lens and hopefully another 50MP sensor with an ultrawide angle lens.
Samsung is not going to enter the high battery race, in fact might go with the same 5,000mAh unit once again like its predecessor. The bigger upgrade could be on the charging side with 60W wired support being suggested in multiple leaks.
