Rajkot: President Droupadi Murmu on Monday said that rapid advances in technologies such as artificial intelligence are transforming healthcare and emphasised that the health of citizens will be crucial to achieving the goal of Viksit Bharat by 2047. She was addressing the first convocation ceremony of AIIMS, Rajkot. During the ceremony, degrees were conferred upon the first batch of 49 MBBS graduates. The event also witnessed presentation of 10 medals and certificates of merit. These include one institutional medal, along with gold, silver and bronze medals awarded across the first, second and third professional years.She said, while embracing the changing technology tools, doctors must remember that empathy, reassurance and attentive listening remain at the heart of patient care.
