Gurgaon: A 45-year-old woman allegedly died by suicide at her residence in CHD Avenue in Sector 71 early Thursday.The woman, Kriti Mishra, worked at a private company in M3M. Her husband, Yuvraj Sharma, is employed as a cabin crew trainer at the Air India Training Academy in the city. The couple is from Bhubaneswar in Odisha and has a nine-year-old daughter.Police said they received a call around 8am about a woman found dead in an apartment. Personnel from Badshahpur police station reached the society and took the body into custody.Sources said Kriti and her husband had an argument, after which she went into another room and locked the door from inside. When she did not respond the following morning, Yuvraj tried to open the door. After finding the door locked, he broke a window and entered the room, where he found his wife dead, sources said.An officer said there were no allegations against the husband at this stage. Police said they are recording statements of family members and speaking to Kriti’s colleagues to establish the circumstances leading to her death. The family told police there had been no indication of any serious problem at home in the days before the incident.“Autopsy has been conducted and reports are awaited. The body was handed over to the family. The circumstances surrounding the death are being investigated,” the officer said.
