Mysuru: Vidya Vikas Institute of Engineering & Technology (VVIET) conducted a mock Common Entrance Test (CET) at its campus on Monday, offering aspiring engineering students an opportunity to experience a real-time examination environment ahead of the Karnataka CET scheduled on Thursday and Friday.More than 400 students from institutions across Mysuru and nearby regions, including Mandya, Malavalli, KR Nagar, Nanjangud, HD Kote, Hunsur, Tumakuru and Tiptur, participated in the mock test. Raghunandan from Sadvidya College secured the first prize in the mock test, winning Rs 15,000. Alok GA of Trinity College claimed the second prize of Rs 10,000, while Manan TN from Navkis PU College won the third prize of Rs 5,000. Consolation prizes were awarded to Nethrashree S, Advaith KV and Isha Mariyaam.
