Times News NetworkPanchkula: A 4-year-old boy and a truck driver lost their lives when a truck overturned at the entrance gate of the Kali Mata temple in Kalka early Sunday morning.The deceased child has been identified as Maninder, a resident of Ambala. Police said the incident took place around 4am when the family arrived to pay obeisance at the temple and was preparing to return after early morning darshan. Police said that the cement-laden truck, driven by Nishan Singh, reportedly failed to negotiate a steep turn near the temple entrance, causing it to overturn. The vehicle fell towards the side where people were standing, crushing the child on the spot. Nishan Singh also died in the accident.MSID:: 130372231 413 |
