Amravati: An unidentified truck rammed a car on Amravati-Akola highway late Monday night, killing four youths from Badnera and injuring two others.According to reports, Mohammad Huzefa Mohammad Arif and five friends were heading to Akola for tea in a car around 1.30 am. On the way, an unknown truck collided with their car, causing extensive damage.The impact of the crash was such that four of the car’s occupants — Mohammad Talha Mohammad Anees, Mohammad Anas Mohammad Saeed, Abdul Avez Mohammad Akil, and Mohammad Anves Abdul Salim, all from Badnera’s old town — died in the accident. Mohammad Ashar and Mohammad Anas Mohammad Anees are receiving treatment at RIMS Hospital with serious injuries.Mohammad Javed Sheikh Afzal (42) filed a complaint with Badnera police, leading to a case against the unknown truck driver under BNS sections 106(1), 125(A), 125(B), 281, and Motor Vehicles Act sections 134, 184. PSI Sanjay Deshmukh is investigating and searching for the truck driver.The incident has sent shockwaves through Badnera, with locals attributing the accident to increased traffic and a lack of speed control on the highway.
