Amravati: Four people were killed and 15 injured after a pickup van carrying traders and villagers from Dedtalai, Madhya Pradesh, met with an accident in Shivaziri Ghat, Dharni taluka, on Sunday evening. The vehicle overturned after losing control while climbing a steep slope.The deceased were identified as Babulal Dahiker, Sitaram Selukar, Kishan Dhande and Sukarai Dhande, all residents of Kanjoli, Dharni. The injured are being treated at Dharni sub-district hospital.Locals allege that the accident occurred due to the poor condition of the road, with large potholes causing the vehicle to lose control. The administration is facing criticism for neglecting road repairs despite repeated demands.Dharni police station officer Avatarsingh Chavan is conducting investigation.
