Kanpur: Maharajpur police arrested four men in Kanpur for allegedly robbing truck drivers on highways.The accused were arrested during a checking campaign near the Kulgaon Underpass in Kanpur.They were identified as Abhishek Saini alias Kaddu, Babu Singh, Raghavendra Yadav alias Raghav alias Kallu, and Aditya Yadav alias Raftaar.Police recovered 12 stolen mobile phones, a country-made pistol and a live cartridge from their possession.According to police, the four were planning to divide and sell the looted goods when they were apprehended.ADCP East Shiva Singh said all four were habitual offenders. She said they would assault truck drivers during robberies and later sell the stolen items.
