Jaipur: Suresh Singh Rawat, Rajasthan Cabinet Minister for Water Resources along with Nirmala Rawat, President, World Para Throwball Federation and Dr Manoj Kumar, president, Singhania University, flagged off the awareness rally for the 3rd Asian Para Throwball Championship from Jaipur to Pacheri here on Saturday (July 18).The minister appreciated the efforts of Para Throwball Federation of India and Singhania University for coming forward towards such a noble cause of disability and providing a platform to showcase their ability.Around 40 differently abled para throwball players took out a bike rally and proceeded to Pacheri, where the 3rd Asian Para Throwball Championship will be held in March, 2027. Several dignitaries were present on the occasion.Nirmala welcomed the guests and appreciated the participants’ zeal and enthusiasm to partake in the tournament.Dr Manoj Kumar made a note about the flag received in Malaysia and invited the audience to the University campus in 2027. Adv Lalit Sharma and other officials of the Para Throwball Federation of India were present on the occasion.
