At the Intermediate level, 80 students from Vadodara cleared the examination

Vadodara: Thirty-six candidates from Vadodara have qualified as cost and management accountants (CMAs) after clearing the June 2026 final examination conducted by the Institute of Cost Accountants of India (ICMAI).ICMAI declared the results of its intermediate and final examinations on Wednesday.At the Intermediate level, 80 students from Vadodara cleared the examination. In group I, 42 of the 228 candidates passed, recording a pass percentage of 18.42%. In group II, 63 of 301 candidates qualified, with a pass percentage of 20.93%. Of the 130 candidates who appeared for both groups, 13 cleared the examination, resulting in a pass percentage of 10%.Nisarg Girishbhai Bathani topped the intermediate examination in Vadodara with 513 marks. He was followed by Diya Kalpeshbhai Patel with 438 marks and Vasava Sujal Rohitbhai with 432 marks.At the final level, 37 candidates cleared the examination. Group III recorded a pass percentage of 19.2%, with 24 of 125 candidates qualifying. Group IV had the highest pass percentage at 42.25%, with 30 of 71 candidates passing. Among the 26 candidates who appeared for both groups, eight qualified, registering a success rate of 30.77%.Dhvani Rajeshkumar Prajapati topped the final examination in Vadodara with 472 marks, followed by Nandani Lalitkumar Vaswani with 452 marks and Nishita Nareshkumar Harwani with 448 marks.“Cost and management accountants play a key role in improving organisational performance by helping businesses manage and reduce costs, thereby enhancing efficiency and profitability,” said Amruta Vyas, head of the Baroda chapter of ICMAI.
