Srinagar, August 19: A 35-year-old man died after the Alto car he was driving collided with another vehicle in the Peerbagh area of Srinagar on Wednesday evening, officials said.
According to an official, the Alto car collided with another vehicle, leaving its driver critically injured.
The injured man was shifted to a hospital, where doctors declared him brought dead, the official said.
The deceased was identified as Ziya Ahmad Malik (35), son of Abdul Gafer Malik, a resident of Rawalpora, Srinagar.
Meanwhile, police have initiated an investigation into the incident to ascertain the circumstances leading to the collision.
