Vadodara: The body of a 30-year-old man was found at his residence in the Gotri area of the city on Sunday, police said.The deceased, identified as Suraj Nair, lived alone in a bungalow.According to police, Nair worked at a private company in Nandesari GIDC. Neighbours said they had not seen him for the past few days and had been noticing a foul smell for the last three days, which intensified on Sunday. When repeated knocks on his door went unanswered, they alerted the police.Police broke open the door and found Nair’s body lying inside the house. Officials said his parents are deceased, and efforts are on to contact other relatives.No external injury marks were found on the body, police added. Gotri police have registered a case and initiated an investigation into the cause of death.
