Chandigarh: Chandigarh Police Friday granted the local rank of inspector to 10 officers, including three women sub-inspectors, in a move aimed at strengthening field supervision and improving operational efficiency.The orders were issued by DGP Sagar Preet Hooda. Police officials said the decision was taken to motivate officers and enhance supervisory capabilities in the field.According to the order, the local rank will not confer any financial benefits, seniority or other service-related entitlements. It can also be withdrawn without prior notice if an officer’s performance is found unsatisfactory or if the officer faces a departmental inquiry or criminal case.The officers granted the local rank of Inspector are Chandramukhi, Jaskirandeep Kaur, Kulvindr Kaur, Ravdeep Singh, Daljit Singh, Suresh Kumar, Surya Prakash, Prem Singh, Harnek Singh and Gurvinder Singh Chahal.
