Prayagraj: In a late-evening development, DCP (Yamuna Nagar) Vivek Chandra Yadav on Tuesday suspended three sub-inspectors – Neelesh Kumar, Ramanand Vishwakarma and Vicky Gupta – on the charges of dereliction of duties. Police said that the three errant SIs had arrested two miscreants under Arms and NDPS Act. They had also recovered hefty cash lakh but showed the recovery of Rs 87,500 only. When senior cops came to know about this, an ACP-rank official was deputed to investigate the case. After they were found guilty, their suspension was ordered. A departmental probe was also ordered.
