Prayagraj: Three police teams have been formed to trace a 16-year-old girl who left her home on July 28 to attend school in Kishanpur village of Fatehpur district but has not returned since.Police said CCTV footage and preliminary investigations revealed that the girl left her home in her school uniform carrying a school bag. She later went to a friend’s house and expressed her intention to change clothes to attend an event. However, she left after the friend’s mother denied permission.The girl was subsequently seen heading towards the Kishanpur bus stand, police said.A senior police officer said teams are working on several leads. “We have received some inputs and are acting on them to trace and recover the girl at the earliest,” the officer said.
