Varanasi: Three persons died after being hit by the Indore-Patna Express between Gahmar and Bara railway stations on the Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay-Danapur rail section on Sunday evening. After investigation, when the deceased could not be identified, the bodies were kept in the mortuary for identification.According to reports, Gahmar railway station officials informed the police through a memo that a person died near pole number 778 between Gahmar and Bara railway stations. When the police reached the spot, flesh remains were scattered over nearly half a kilometre, while the bodies of two persons were severed from their torsos.Kotwal Pramod Kumar Singh said from the appearance of the bodies it seems that all three died after being hit by the train. Since the bodies are completely mutilated neither can the age be determined nor can they be identified. However, the case is being investigated.
