Patna: SDPO, Sanjeet Kumar, who was removed from Jagdishpur after his alleged role in the encounter of Bharat Bhushan Tiwari in Bhojpur, was given a new posting in Supaul district late Saturday night. Sanjeet, a Bihar Administrative Service (BAS) officer, has now been posted as deputy collector land reforms (DCLR), Supaul Sadar. He had been waiting for posting for the past one month.Sanjeet was removed from the post of SDO Jagdishpur on July 24. The action was taken shortly after Bharat Tiwari’s mother Asha Devi met CM Samrat Choudhary and demanded his removal. Since then, he was working at the headquarters in general administration department (GAD), Patna, waiting for a new posting.Meanwhile, in two separate notifications issued by the GAD late Saturday night, three IAS officers were transferred and 27 DSP rank police officers have been given new responsibilities.According to the notification, Sunil Kumar (2014-batch IAS officer) has been transferred from the post of managing director, Bihar State Food and Civil Supplies Corporation (BSFC). He has now been posted as director, audit in finance department.Anjani Kumar (2016-batch), earlier posted as chief executive officer of zila parishad in Purnia, has been transferred to rural development department and made commissioner of VB-G RAM G.Under the new arrangement, Ananya Singh, additional chief executive officer of Jeevika, has been relieved from the additional charge of commissioner, VB-G RAM G.Abhay Jha (2017-batch), earlier posted as additional secretary, rural works department, has now been posted as managing director of Bihar State Food and Civil Supplies Corporation till further orders. He will also hold the additional charge of additional secretary, food and consumer protection department.The important responsibility of SP (administration) in Patna has been given to Sonu Kumar Rai. Along with this, 27 DSPs have been shifted across the state, including Saran, Ara, Vaishali and Begusarai.
