Malay RayRourkela: A junior engineer of National Health Mission (NHM) was arrested by Odisha vigilance on Wednesday for demanding and accepting a bribe of Rs 5000 from a contractor. He was caught red-handed while he was accepting the money, which he had demanded for facilitating the release of the contractor’s security deposit. The accused was identified as Sumanta Naik (39), the junior engineer of NHM, at the office of chief district medical and public health officer, Sundargarh. Simultaneous searches were underway at three locations linked to Naik. **********
