Status: Not ApprovedHEAD: 25_All_KD_four police teams Byline: Kapil DixitFour police teams to probe jeweller loot caseTimes News Network Prayagraj: At least four police teams were formed to work out the sensational jeweller loot case, wherein a group of 3 bike-borne armed miscreants allegedly looted a licensed revolver, Rs one lakh cash, and gold and silver ornaments/jewellery worth several lakhs of rupees from a jeweller identified as PK Soni near Panchayat Bhawan Road, Chakdeeha village, under the limits of Manda police station on Tuesday night.The miscreants also thrashed the jeweller with the butt of the gun whle executing the loot. The injured jeweller was admitted to SRN Hospital for treatment. The incident, as per police, took place when the jeweller was returning home after closing the shops.CP (Law and Order) Dr Ajay Pal told TOI that police detained around half a dozen persons for questioning. He added, “Police teams were formed to crack the incident.”He said that the bike-borne miscreants intercepted the jeweller near Panchayat Bhawan Road, Chakdeeha village, and assaulted the jeweller. The miscreants snatched the bag containing around 150 gram gold, 5 kg silver, Rs 1 lakh cash, and a licensed revolver.
