Kanpur: A 25-year-old police recruitment aspirant died after collapsing while running at Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Sports Stadium in Etawah on Friday morning. The youth reportedly developed severe chest pain during practice and was rushed to a district hospital, where doctors declared him dead.Akash, a resident of Yashoda Nagar, regularly practised running and other physical exercises. On Friday morning, he arrived at the stadium with his companions for a training session. While running, he complained of severe chest pain and his condition rapidly deteriorated.After the news of Akash’s death spread, grieving family members rushed to the hospital. Clinging to hope that he might still be alive, they shifted him to the Uttar Pradesh University of Medical Sciences, Saifai.Police reached the hospital after being informed about the incident and began gathering details. While a heart-related ailment is suspected to be the cause of death prima facie, the exact cause will be ascertained only after a medical examination.
