Bikaner: The 23rd state-level MTB and 31st Road Cycling Championship will be organised on August 22 at Gajner Road in Bikaner from 7am to select Rajasthan players for the upcoming National MTB.According to Rajasthan Cycling Association president Pawan Kumar Sukhija, around 250 players from 25 districts are expected to participate in the two-day competition.The Bikaner District Cycling Association president Mohit Baid and secretary Surendra Kookana expressed happiness over organising the competition in Bikaner and various responsibilities have been assigned to the workers for a successful and safe event.Letters have been sent to the concerned departments for first-aid facilities and traffic compartments. Organising secretary GS Khatri said that arrangements for accommodation for players coming from outside have been made at Mohta Dharamshala on Station Road.Shailesh Pediwal, life president of Rajasthan Cycling Association, said that a meeting of the association’s officials was held on Wednesday to finalise the event in which all types of arrangements were discussed.
