Mangaluru: Around 2,394 candidates were placed and 5,935 shortlisted for further recruitment rounds at the 16th edition of Alva’s Pragati 2026. The placement drive was organised by the Alvas Education Foundation held at the Vidyagiri campus in Moodubidire concluded on Saturday.The two-day mega drive attracted around 15,539 job aspirants from across the country, including 2,523 candidates on the second day. According to a release, among the 332 companies that participated, 285 of them have made selections. While 326 companies participated on the first day, six joined on the second day.Among the recruiters were Exicom Tele-Systems Ltd, an EV charging solutions company, Codeyoung, an online coding education platform, EXL, a data analytics and digital solutions company, HL Mando, ANZ, Tata Electronics, Sagility, FiveS Digital, Expertise, an industrial conglomerate, Elogixa, Bühler India Pvt. Ltd. and Toyota Kirloskar Motor.Organisers said that all updates regarding candidate selections and shortlisting from Alva’s Pragati 2026 will be made available on the official website within a week.
