Lucknow: Railway Protection Force (RPF) recovered 20.5 kg of ganja from three unclaimed bags aboard the Saryu Yamuna Express.The seizure was made on Tuesday by RPF personnel Sanjay Kumar and Vishwambhar Singh while escorting Saryu Yamuna Express (14649) between Chhapra and Azamgarh.“During a routine inspection at Muhammadabad railway station, the team found three unattended bags in a general coach. Passengers were questioned, but no one claimed their ownership,” said an RPF spokesperson. RPF men searched the bags and found them containing ganja. The bags were seized and handed over to the GRP Azamgarh for further legal action. estimated market value of the 20.5 kg contraband is Rs 2.46 lakh.
