Chennai: Two men waiting for a bus near Rajiv Gandhi government general hospital (RGGGH) were robbed of cash by two unidentified, knife-wielding men on Tuesday night.Police said R Gunasekaran, 42, from Arani in Tiruvannamalai district, works in the public works department. While he was waiting at the GH bus stop, two men approached him and demanded 2,000. When he refused, the duo pulled out knives, slashed him on the head and fled. Gunasekaran is being treated at GH.In a separate incident 200 metres away on Wall Tax Road, two men picked up a quarrel with Mohammed Chand. They asked him if he was in possession of ganja, then attacked him with a knife and fled. Chand suffered injuries to his hand and shoulder. Flower Bazaar police are trying to find out if the crimes were committed by the same men. TNN
