Kullu: Two people were killed and two others were injured after a car they were travelling in plunged into a deep gorge near Shikari Devi temple in Himachal Pradesh’s Seraj area of Mandi district on late Tuesday night.The police said the car plunged around 700 metres deep into a gorge after the driver lost control of the vehicle at a sharp bend near the gate of the temple, which is located at an altitude of around 3,300 metres.According to the police, one of the injured survivors managed to climb back to the road and sought help from the people sleeping near the temple.The Janjehli police were informed at around 1am, and a team of cops was sent to the spot.The deceased have been identified as Bhupender Raj and Het Ram, both residents of Thunag near Janjehli. The injured, Yog Raj and Purn Chand, have been admitted to Shri Lal Bahadur Shastri Govt Medical College and Hospital, Nerchowk.
