Hisar: A fast-track court convicted two men for drugging and gang raping a minor girl in a nearly five-year-old case, sentencing each to 20 years in prison. The judge also imposed a fine of Rs 1.16 lakh each on them. The case was registered on Oct 21, 2020, on a complaint from the survivor’s mother. She alleged the men lured her minor daughter to a remote spot, where they drank alcohol and gave her a cold drink laced with drugs, then raped her while she was unconscious. They later blackmailed the girl with obscene photos, police said. Investigators arrested the pair and filed a chargesheet.
