Nagpur: Two Class 12 students, both 18, were killed on Monday afternoon after a speeding truck rammed their two-wheeler from behind on Mahurzari road in Kalameshwar police station limits. The truck driver sped away after the collision, said police.The accident occurred around 3 pm. The students, Ved Bobde of Virchakra Colony on Katol Road and Atharva Thawre of Sadar, were thrown off the two-wheeler and suffered grievous injuries. Kalameshwar police rushed the teenagers to hospital, where doctors declared them brought dead.The tragedy plunged the Bobde and Thawre families, relatives and neighbours into grief.Kalameshwar police registered a case and launched a search operation to nab the truck driver. Teams are checking nearby routes and collecting details that could help identify the driver.
