Hazaribag: Hazaribag district administration’s book donation campaign has received a major boost with one of the city’s prominent schools, Angels High, donating around 1,000 books to the newly constructed district library at District Board Chowk. The initiative is aimed at strengthening the library’s collection and ensuring quality study material for economically weaker students, particularly those preparing for competitive examinations.The donation is part of the district administration’s ongoing “Book Donation Campaign”, launched to promote education and make quality educational resources accessible to deserving students. The books donated by the school on Friday are expected to benefit a large number of aspirants by providing them with access to valuable reference material free of cost.The new District Library is scheduled to be inaugurated on Aug 15. The administration said the campaign has been receiving encouraging support from educational institutions and social organisations, helping build a rich repository of books for students.The district administration has appealed to schools, colleges, coaching institutes, govt and private offices, social organisations and candidates who have completed their competitive examination preparation to donate books that are no longer in use but remain in good condition.
