Kanpur: A 19-year-old teenage girl allegedly hanged herself at her home in Darshan Kheda Bhud village under Fatehpur Chaurasi police station of Unnao on Thursday. Police said when the girl did not come out of her room till late, her family peeped inside to find her hanging from the ceiling. Fatehpur Chaurasi police reached the spot and sent the body for post-mortem. Additional SP Akhilesh Singh said that it appeared to be a case of suicide, but the reason was not ascertained till report comes in.
