Jamshedpur: Three men were arrested from a Gurabanda police station limits in East Singhbhum for stealing two-wheelers from Jamshedpur and other parts of the district late on Monday. Seventeen stolen two-wheelers were recovered from their possession, police said on Tuesday.The accused were identified as Prabhash Mahali (28), Jaiprakash Mahali (22) and Sachin Mahali (23). All of them are residents of Dugrigora village under Gurabanda police station limits, roughly 80 km from here.Rural SP Shubham Khandelwal said the accused stole motorcycles from Jamshedpur and its adjoining areas and sold them to rural buyers using forged documents. “During a crime control drive, information was recieved that some youths were present with stolen motorcycles near Harikirtan Mandap and Milanvithi High School in Jwalahkatta village. Acting on it, a team cordoned off the area and apprehended them,” he said.Stolen two-wheelers were recovered based on their disclosure. “Further investigation is underway,” Khandelwal added.
