Vadodara: As many as 151 international students, researchers, faculty members and young entrepreneurs from 22 countries will participate in academic exchange programmes at Parul University between July and Dec this year.The participants will be part of 11 programmes covering internships, doctoral research, semester exchanges, entrepreneurship, faculty mobility and cultural immersion. The countries represented include Switzerland, France, the UK, Russia, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, Portugal, Poland, Morocco, Senegal, Vietnam, Australia, South Africa, the US and Argentina among others.The programmes will bring together 70 international students and 81 international faculty members and experts for engagements lasting from one week to nearly six months. Officials said the initiatives are aimed at promoting academic collaboration, joint research, innovation and cross-cultural learning.One of the key initiatives is the Young Entrepreneur Exchange Program (YEEP), under which 11 students and two faculty members from Bern University of Applied Sciences, Switzerland, are participating. The programme includes interactions with startup mentors, incubation centres and industry experts, with a focus on entrepreneurship and innovation.Other initiatives include the International Internship Program, International PhD Scholar Program, Indian Summer School, Global Discovery Program, Semester Exchange Program, International Visiting Professor Program, International Week and the Ayurveda Practitioner Program. Participants will engage in academic exchanges, collaborative research and cultural immersion activities during their stay.
