Jharsuguda: A 15-year-old boy drowned at Lalpathar waterfall under Lakhanpur block of Jharsuguda district on Wednesday where he had gone with his friends. Police identified the deceased as Arshit Tripathy of Bhuliatikra in Jharsuguda. His body was found after a 4-hour search. Arshit was visiting the waterfall along with a group of friends. While bathing, he suddenly slipped into a deeper portion and went missing. His friends initially tried to locate him and later informed police. Police later sent the body for autopsy and initiated an inquiry into the incident.
