New Delhi: A 13-year-old boy drowned while another is missing after the two went bathing in the Yamuna river near Sur Ghat on Tuesday afternoon.Both boys, residents of the area, had parents who work as labourers, police said.According to police, they had gone to the river around 1.30pm with four friends, all under 15. They decided to bathe, and the two entered the water before beginning to drown.A PCR call was received at Timarpur police station around 2pm, while Delhi Fire Services was alerted at 2.07pm.Police, NDRF, DDMA and fire personnel rushed to the spot and launched a search operation with the help of boat club divers.One boy was pulled out and taken to the Trauma Centre in Civil Lines, where he was declared brought dead.
