Srinagar, July 4 : A 13-year-old boy drowned in the River Jhelum near the Lasjan area of Srinagar on Saturday, officials said.
An official told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that the boy was bathing in the River Jhelum when he accidentally drowned. He was identified as Lukman Javed (13), a resident of Lasjan, Srinagar.
Meanwhile, rescue teams of the SDRF, along with police have rushed to the spot. Police have taken cognizance of the incident.—(KNO)
