NEW DELHI: Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Wednesday repeated his ‘PM is compromised jab’ over the India-US trade deal. The remarks came a day after the Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha challenged the Prime Minister to cancel the deal with US, claiming it’s against the interests of Indians, while reinvoking his “surrender” accusations.“Narendra “Surrender” Modi, it’s been over 24 hours since I challenged you to scrap the US Trade Deal – and you’ve once again slunk off to Israel in silence,” said Rahul in a post on X.

From Epstein Files to Trade Deal, Rahul Gandhi Launches All-Out Attack on PM Modi

Further refering to India-US trade deal, he added, “You’ve already danced and sung in Israel once at Epstein’s behest – so this time, on whose orders will you return having struck a deal against the country’s interests?”Rahul Gandhi’s demand comes against the backdrop of the US Supreme Court’s ruling against President Donald Trump’s global tariffs. The Congress leader, recently, has levelled a series of allegations against PM Modi, claiming the government rushed into a trade deal with the United States to serve the interests of Union minister Hardeep Singh Puri and industrialist Gautam Adani, whom Rahul described as the “BJP’s financial backbone”.In another allegation the LoP had doubted the timing of the deal, which had been dragging on for months, while claiming that the PM sealed the deal with Trump “without even consulting his Cabinet”.
