Gorakhpur: CM Yogi Adityanath will lay foundation of a 144-bed girls’ hostel and inaugurate a cyber forensic research lab at Madan Mohan Malaviya University of Technology on Wednesday. The hostel will be constructed with financial support from Power Grid Corporation of India Limited under its corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiative.According to university officials, proposed hostel will comprise a ground floor and three additional storeys. Each floor will have 12 rooms, taking total number of rooms to 48, each room designed to accommodate three students. The project is estimated to cost around Rs 13.67 crore and will be the sixth girls’ hostel on the university campus.The facility is expected to be equipped with modern amenities, including a mess and dining hall, indoor games hall, badminton and table tennis facilities, a music room, digital library and a gymnasium, ensuring a comfortable residential environment for students.
