Vadodara: An argument at the workplace led to the stabbing of an employee of a private company in the city on Thursday evening. The victim, Ashok Rathwa, was admitted to SSG Hospital. Manjalpur police filed a complaint against the accused, Rajendra Rathwa.According to police, Ashok works in the quality check department of a company in the Makarpura GIDC estate. On Thursday, Rajendra, a line in-charge in the company, saw Ashok sitting on a table during work hours. Rajendra got angry and pulled up Ashok, who joined the company only a few months ago. Ashok then resumed his work.On Thursday evening, after office hours, Ashok, 24, approached Rajendra outside the company premises and asked why he had rebuked him. The police complaint states that Rajendra lost his temper and started abusing Ashok. Rajendra then allegedly pulled out a knife from his motorcycle and attacked Ashok, who suffered injuries to his stomach.Passers-by intervened and rushed Ashok to hospital. Police said that they are investigating the incident and will arrest Rajendra soon.
